Hi all-

Thanks to all of you who have sent notes in the last few weeks. So glad you are enjoying Marketing Mojo and the topics are hitting home.

Whenever possible, I remind clients that we are all in this soup together. We all were issued the same human being handbook at birth, and we all face a lot of the same challenges. When I receive an email that says, “You mean other people do this too?” I reply, “Yes! Totally!” And, I’m not perfect either… we are all on the continuum of getting better and better year after year.

In a class I am attending that strengthens creativity, we talked about ‘being a better you,’ which from the get-go makes your change, your improvement, your contribution all about you and what you have to give. The allure of buying into competing with others is tempting, but it robs us of what is uniquely us!

Speaking of that, I’m delighted to share that we have a new blog series… True You Interviews. The first one was dynamite and will be loaded onto the site next week. Stay tuned…

Competition by Creation vs. Comparison… Next time you feel a nudge of envy of what someone else is doing or are feeling down on yourself about what you haven’t done… ask yourself what it is this is telling you about what you want to create. Those nudges can put you back on the path to creating what you really want.
